Downtown Thursday Nights: Tomah’s Annual Summer Community Concert Series

Live, local music is a vibrant and essential component of many communities, and Tomah, Wisconsin is no exception. One community hotspot for live music is Tomah’s summer pop-up street concert series, Downtown Thursday Nights. Presented by the Tomah Chamber and Visitors Center, Downtown Thursday Nights features free admission, live music, food and drink vendors, beer booths, and a Kid Zone with face painting, caricatures, balloon animals, and bounce houses. The concert series runs the first three Thursday evenings of July and August from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, showcasing different bands each night.

Music
Being a 6-week concert series in the heart of downtown Tomah, Wisconsin, each Downtown Thursday Nights event features a different band. The yearly lineup is posted for each year before the concert series begins and can be checked on the Downtown Thursday Nights website. The live performances are the highlight of the evening, bringing the crowd together to dance, sing, and thoroughly enjoy themselves. The concerts are family and kid friendly, so you can bring the whole family together for an evening of community, food, live music, and fun!

Food & Drinks
Along with the epic entertainment, Downtown Thursday Nights features a range of great food and drink vendors to enjoy at the event. There is a beer tent for those who are 21 and older to grab a nice cold beverage with the presentation of a valid ID. Multiple food vendors also show out, giving people many locally based options for dinner. The Loaded Bun, Murray’s on Main, The Carlton, and BP Smokehouse are a few vendors where you can grab food at Downtown Thursday Nights. Other drinks besides alcohol are available for purchase as well.

Kids Zone
A great bonus for an already family friendly event is the Downtown Thursday Nights Kids Zone! Let the kids enjoy all the activities, while you have a fun evening with friends and family. The Kids Zone has bounce houses, face painting, caricatures, and balloon animals. Plus there is a Kids Zone Eats section with food for the kiddos, including brats and hotdogs, pretzel bites, beverages, pizza, walking tacos and more.
