The uptown region includes places to buy local products, including antiques, art, and goods, delicious dining options, and the popular Tomah-Sparta Speedway. Whether you want to grab dinner with friends and family, do a little shopping, or check out the races at the speedway, there is plenty for visitors to do in uptown Tomah.

With over 68 dealers, Antique Mall & Art Gallery houses a large antique collection of quality coins, jewelry, tools, glassware, paper, toys, linens, pottery, crocks, furniture, primitives, and more. If you are looking for something new, there is an attached gift shop with boutique clothing and accessories, cranberry gifts, paperweights, sweatshirts, and garden items. Upstairs, shoppers will find Wildes Art Gallery which features over 40 Wisconsin artists, along with nationally recognized artists, too.

What would be a trip to Wisconsin without picking up some locally produced cheese and meats? Humbird Cheese Mart is the place to explore if you’re looking for quality local cheeses with over 100 different varieties of cheeses. Visitors can also look through a range of cranberry products, homemade fudge and candy, ice cream, and other Wisconsin souvenirs. Tomah-Sparta Speedway

Take time to participate in one of Tomah’s cherished Friday night traditions at one of the oldest paved racetracks in Wisconsin! The Tomah-Sparta Speedway features an action-packed evening of racing and is home to some of the best Midwest touring series and kids events. A family friendly event, the speedway is a great place to visit with the kids on a Friday night. Visitors can follow the racing season on the speedway’s Facebook page to see what events and races are scheduled each week.

A day in Uptown Tomah will probably include a stop at a local restaurant or eatery; one of the best local food joints in the area is Taphouse Twenty! With a range of beers on tap from ales to fruit beers to lagers, and even root beer for the kids, there is always something tasty on tap at Taphouse Twenty. They also feature a great food menu with a large selection of burgers, wraps, sandwiches, salads, wings, pizzas, and more. Add on their delicious dessert menu and epic happy hour specials, Taphouse Twenty is a great place to eat with a welcoming atmosphere and fun community.

Mandy’s Cafe and Deli

Homemade comfort food isn’t the only thing on the menu at Mandy’s! Located in the Heartland Cranberry Mall along with Taphouse Twenty and other shops, Mandy’s is open for breakfast and lunch and the menu is full of your favorites. You won’t find anything deep fried here, only food prepared the way your mom would in her kitchen. Breakfast is served all day, pies are made from scratch, and there are fresh soups and salad bar every day.
