Downtown Thursday Nights
Live music is a vibrant and essential component of many communities, and Tomah, Wisconsin is no exception. One community hotspot for local music is Tomah’s summer pop-up street concert series, Downtown Thursday Nights. Presented by the Tomah Chamber and Visitors Center, Downtown Thursday Nights features free admission, live music, food and drink vendors, beer booths, and a Kid Zone with face painting, caricatures, balloon animals, and bounce houses. The concert series runs the first three Thursday evenings of July and August from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, showcasing different bands each night.

The Break Room Sports Bar & Grill
Another place to stop for live music is The Break Room Sports Bar & Grill. With live music weekly every Friday night, you can stop by for drinks, delicious food, a fun community, and a great atmosphere. The bar features live music by different musicians each week starting at 9:00 pm and running until 11:00 pm. There is no cover charge, so this music hotspot is also free admission and a great spot to kick off your Friday night.

Americana Music in the Park
If you’re looking for more live music hotspots for the summer, Tomah also has Americana Music in the Park on Wednesdays in Gillette Park. This annual summer concert series is held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of June, July, and August from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. The event started with founder Scott Wilcox performing in Gillette Park on Saturday mornings and has turned into a live music destination for six evenings during the summer. Americana Music in the Park is a nonprofit, so although admission is free for everyone, donations are welcome to keep the event going each year.

Brick Sip Haus
For those who like to enjoy great wines in a lively and relaxed atmosphere with live musical performances, then the Brick Sip Haus in downtown Tomah is the perfect place. With a wonderful setup for live music, visitors can grab a glass of their favorite beverage including a wide variety of delicious wines and sit back to listen to a variety of live musicians. Brick Sip Haus also has an Open Mic Night where music lovers and singers can try their talents up on stage.

Double Barrel Bar
The Double Barrel Bar at the Holiday Lodge Resort in Tomah is another music hotspot for visitors and locals, especially featuring live bands on the weekend. The bar is a part of the long-standing resort, which also includes a golf course, supper club, and banquet hall. But the bar is a unique spot to gather, as it is the first of its kind in the area with 24 self-serve taps powered by iPourIt technology. Patrons can choose to use the self-serve tavern or order their drinks from the full service bar. Enjoy pizza from the local vendor Mama K’s, and rotating food trucks on the weekends, while you stop by to see live performances.

Annual Music Events
Besides local music hotspots that have a variety of live performances throughout the year, Tomah also has annual events that feature live musical performances. The Monroe County Fair and the Annual Rally for the Record are two epic annual Tomah summer events that feature live music.
