Whats a giant show kite?
Extreme or Giant Show kites are for those days when you really want to put on a show and take “Sky Decorating” to another level. These kites are flown by professional and can reach 100 ft in length!
Whats Running of the Bols?
This is like a tug-of-war with the wind! “Bols” are large parachute-like wind devices that kite fliers attach to the backs of willing participants! The concept is simple - Stand with a 6-10 foot Bol at the downwind side of the field, and when the starting signal is given, race upwind! With dozens of Bols on the field, it becomes a fun-filled , slow motion extravaganza! Pulling these big boys upwind isn’t as easy as it seems! Bring your friends and family to see who can make it to the finish line first!
Candy Drops? This sounds dangerous?
We will have two candy drops throughout the day! This is where we send a kite up in the sky with a bucket full of candy! Once the candy is released from the sky and has landed on the grass we will release children by age group to run out in the field and collect the candy!
